Lela Tepavac is a leadership consultant dedicated to helping companies and their leaders make the best choices for the top roles and build strong organizations with enabling cultures that attract exceptional people and fully leverage their talents and initiatives. She has worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies across industries and borders as president of Fit Leadership, LLC.

Prior to founding her company, Lela consulted to several UN agencies on diverse topics, conducted conflict resolution and mediation research at Columbia University, and led a number of studies at the Institute for Social Policy in Zagreb, Croatia. Lela was a Partner at Mercer Delta Consulting for thirteen years working with executives of major corporations to strategically design and execute organizational change. She worked primarily in the areas of executive leadership assessment, CEO evaluation and succession, organization assessment and diagnosis, organization culture change, intellectual capital building, and change metrics.

Lela holds a Ph.D. in social/organizational psychology from Columbia University, New York, M.A. in Social Psychiatry from the School of Medicine Zagreb, Croatia, and undergraduate degree from the University of Zagreb, Croatia. She has been a contributing author to a number of articles.  She is a current member of the American Psychological Association, New York Human Resources Planning Society, and Women on Wall Street.
